twin room upgrade

the second edit

i have changed my twins’ room twice now since i first redid it. and it’s because it just hasn’t felt right yet. i’m a firm believer that if you don’t love something, change it until it does. and that’s what we did! if you haven’t heard of them, loomwell makes the most amazing peel and stick wallpaper. the quality is thick and durable + it covers wall texture and blemishes so well. i used it in my son’s room prior, so i knew i needed it in here too. i ended up choosing the elena in mauve and paired it with the board and batten i had done originally in village green by behr.

i absolutely love how it turned out together! fun for little girls but also something that they can grow up in until they tell me they want something else haha

we also made some scalloped shelves to replace the other ones that had seen better days and they were a total experiment. the girls love how they came out, so we kept them! i originally wanted to stain them, but ended up using leftover tranquil waters on the face and made a cute little dot detail on front. here’s my tutorial on how i made them:

paint colors:

-tranquil waters by magnolia

-village green by behr

-swiss coffee by behr

happy diying!

taylor
